Ellie

My name is Ellie and I am Elmwood’s Children’s worker.  I love sharing the Good News about Jesus with children, helping them to have fun and seeing them grow in their relationship with God.  I work with two fantastic teams of volunteers; one team leads the children’s groups on a Sunday morning, the other team leads our Friday evening community Kids’ Club.  

I was born in London and moved to Cardiff aged 10.  In Cardiff I became a Christian and met my husband Dave.  In 2007 we moved to Salford with Dave’s job.  Growing up, I heard about Jesus through holiday clubs and soccer outreach, run by the local church.  I also learnt loads about discipleship through CYFA Venture camps.

I was a school teacher and full time Mum before starting this role in January 2025.  I love music(especially action songs!), ceilidhs, mountains and paddle boarding.
